Thursday we went to Arlington National Cemetery, Iwo Jima, WWII. Talked to a vet from Idaho who had finally made the journey to DC to see the WWII memorial. He was in awe of it. Had committee and workshop meetings.
Friday is delegation day and our head chaperon was just going to "let the kids loose on the mall." She told us to sleep in and take the day off - it was perfect! I read Twilight all day long.. Had closing ceremony followed by the dance.
Saturday (today) we left at about 9 am and went down to the eastern market. The outdoor market has jewelry, purses, dresses, every type of fruit and vegetable, flowers, plants, paintings, furniture and almost everything you can imagine. I think my Aunt Deb would love it! Then we had brunch at a nice little tavern and came home.
