Capitol Hill Day

Woke up this morning and headed off to the Capitol. Our bus driver missed his turn which resulted in changing the directions completely. (It is impossible for charter buses to turn around in DC during rush hour) But anyways, we made it to the Capitol to find out that our first appointment with Senator Fiengold from WI was pushed back. So, we had 2 hours to find something to do with the delegates. We went to the Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress. Then we had our Capitol tour. Following that we went to the Hart Senate building and met with Senator Kohl from WI and Senator Fiengold. Supper was at Union Station and the bus was to pick us up at 6:00 pm sharp. He, however, got lost and then stuck in traffic. He was an hour late, so we were late for Twilight Tattoo - however we made it 30 mins late and still got to see a good portion of the show!
