Japanese Dinner!

I had my Japanese conversation partners over for dinner on Saturday. I told them earlier in the year that I would cook an American dish for them and they could cook a Japanese dish for me. Well, they decided to make about four different dishes. The smells and tastes were...different :) It was a good cultural experience.

The girls always make me smile. They are so generous and thoughtful. They always make sure to serve each other food before serving themselves. I think the American culture lacks this.

Ready for a two day week - then its Home Sweet IOWA!

Ohh..by the way Natty and I put up the Christmas tree on Thursday and decorated the rest of the house!
