Over Labor Day weekend, my friend Ashley and I went to Kansas City to visit our friend (also named Ashley) who transferred from Northwest.
It was a triple A weekend.
Ashley. Angela. Ashley.
Friday night we made dinner and talked for hours catching up on life.
Saturday morning we went to Union Station followed by Crown Center.
Union Station was beautiful. I love old architecture.
An Irish Festival was going on...hence the green water fountains.
Did you know Kansas City is the city of fountains?
We stoped by Crayola...
We ate at the most adorable restaurant: Fritz's.
You place your order over the phone and then a small train that runs above your head drops off your food.
Clever idea.
Of course you get to wear a train conductor's hat...
We shopped, went to Mass, and hung out with Ashley's wonderful family.
Great way to spend my Labor Day weekend.
